Research Guides

In this short video, you will learn about Sacred Heart University Library’s Research Guides.

Research Guides are a resource for when you can’t get to the library but still need some help getting your assignments done. There are guides for subject areas and specific courses, as well as ones that explain a little more about our library’s services.

From the library’s homepage, click the “Research Guides” link under the “Research Support” dropdown menu.

Initially, you will see an alphabetical list of all the available guides.

You can also browse our Guides by subject by clicking the “By Subject” header to see what subject coverage is available. Each guide is slightly different, but all of them are designed to help you find the information you need.

You can click on “By Type” to see the different categories of the guides. If you are looking for a specific course guide, you can start here.
