These guides describe resources and services already mentioned in this module, and also databases, books, and other helpful information specifically relevant to individual programs. Immediate Assistance from the Library Reference Desk

Do you need research support, are experiencing database accessibility issues, or have another information need that can't wait for very long? Then don't hesitate to reach out to the reference desk! You can go to the Ask a Librarian page to find contact information options for email, text, phone, and the library's live chat service. Also, if you are taking classes on campus then you of course can come to the reference desk at the Ryan-Matura library on the main campus for walk-in assistance. 

The reference desk is generally staffed at the following times (all EST):

  • Monday - Thursday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM 
  • Saturday - Sunday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM 

If contacting your librarians during the summer (late May - August), then please keep in mind our summer reference schedule: 

  • Monday - Thursday: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM 
  • Friday: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Saturday - Sunday: Library closed
