In this short video, you will learn how to access your Sacred Heart University Library account and renew your books online.
You can use your SHU Library account to keep track of the print books that you check out or place on hold. The account will also let you renew your library books online.
To access your library account go to the "My Accounts" dropdown menu and select "Renew Books".
Enter your SHU username and password and click "Log In".
Once you have signed into your account, you will see a list of the books you have checked out.
If you want to renew any of your books, select them and then click on the "Renew Selected" button. Or if you want to renew all the items, click the "Renew All" button. The system will renew the items that are eligible for renewal and display the new due date. If the books are overdue, you will not be able to renew them and will need to bring them to the library.
While in your account, you can check on the status of your holds by clicking on the "Holds" tab.
You can also use your account to see if you have any fines by clicking on the "your charges" tab along the left side of the page.
When you are finished reviewing your account, don't forget to logout by clicking the "Log out" button under your account dropdown menu in the top right corner of the page.
For further assistance with your account or any other questions, feel free to contact us at the library!
