
This research module is designed for nursing students in NU 602 (Evidence-Based Practice for Quality Care) and also undergraduate nursing students in NU 365 (Evidence-Based Nursing Practice). It provides an introduction to library resources and how to effectively use them for evidence-based nursing research. This module also serves as an introduction or a refresher for any other nursing students who want to strengthen their database search skills.

Identify key library databases and open web resources for nursing research
Use basic and advanced search strategies to find appropriate information for your research needs
Recognize additional specialized tools, resources, and services available through the SHU Library
