Persistent Links / Permalinks: Creating Stable Links to Electronic Resources

where to locate persistent links with most databases

EBSCOhost databases

Not all articles found in QuickSearch or EBSCO databases are available full-text online. If the article is not available in EBSCO, click on the Full Text Finder icon to see if it is available from another database or journal package. If the full-text is available outside of EBSCO, you can use the other tabs in this guide to to determine how to setup the persistent links from our most popular vendors.

1) After you run a search, click on the title of the article to which you want to create a persistent link.

2) Click on the "permalink" icon on the right side of the screen under tools.

3) Click on and copy the Permalink that appears above the title. Since the proxy information (circled below in red) is already included, nothing further needs to be done, and this link is ready to be added to your course.
