Citation tools, including the citation generator tools mentioned on this page, sometimes make mistakes. Always check that your citations are correct before submitting your work.
You can easily create citations for resource that you find in the library databases and the QuickSearch. Here's how:
Method 1: From a resource's record page:
Open the resource you want to cite
Look for the "Cite" button (it usually looks like a quotation mark symbol)
Click Cite

Method 2: From search results
Find the resource in your search results
Click the "Tools" button (looks like three dots ⋮)
Click Cite

After clicking Cite:
A box will appear
Select your citation style (example: APA 7th edition, MLA 9th edition., etc.)
Click "Copy to clipboard"
Paste the citation where you need it

The library provides electronic access to the following citations manuals:
Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th ed.) - Available as the APA Style Manual database
AMA Manual of Style (11th ed.) - Available as an ebook
