The library provides AI-powered tools embedded directly in databases and search platforms. Unlike general AI chatbots, these tools are designed specifically for academic research and work with verified, scholarly content.
Below are the main AI tools available to you:
Where to find it: QuickSearch and many library databases
What it does: When you click the "More Like This" button next to an article, AI analyzes that article and identifies up to five related articles.
Note: This feature may sometimes find fewer than five articles or be unable to identify any related articles.
When to use it: After finding a highly relevant article, use this tool to quickly discover additional sources on your topic.

Where to find it: QuickSearch tool
What it does: Allows you to search using questions in plain language (like "Can therapy dogs help reduce anxiety in college students?") instead of keywords.
Added benefit: Natural Language Search shows which search terms it used, giving you ideas for new keywords to try in your own searches.
When to use it: When you're just starting a new research topic and don't know which keywords to use yet.

Where to find it: Scopus citation and abstract database
What it does: After you enter a research question, Scopus AI generates a cited summary based on recent scholarly literature and helps you discover relevant articles.
Key advantage: Scopus AI uses only the peer-reviewed resources indexed in the Scopus database, making results more trustworthy than general AI chatbots.
When to use it: To jump-start your research with a credible overview and also quickly build a foundation of high-quality sources.
Learn more: See the library's Scopus AI Quick Guide for detailed instructions on using this tool effectively.
