Making life easier for busy graduate students

Browzine: Engage with Journals in Your Field

Browzine is a web site and app (iOS, Android, and Kindle) that can help you engage with journals in your field of study.  It can save you time and suggest new journals that you might not have heard of or thought about.

With Browzine you can:

  • Browse and read journals: Browse journals by subject, easily review tables of contents, and download full articles;
  • Sort journals into specific "shelves" by subject, publisher, or some criterion of your choosing;
  • Save and export articles: Save articles for off-line reading or export to services such as DropBox, GoogleDrive, Mendeley, RefWorks, Zotero, Papers and more from the article database.

Browzine not only saves you time, but offers and enjoyable reading experience on your device. In cases when an article is not yet available online because of so-called "embargos" (some period specified by the publisher between time of publication and time of release to databases), you can request it via interlibrary loan by following a "Request this item" link:

Watch your inbox (and "spam" or "clutter" box) for the message that your article can be downloaded in .pdf format.
