Sacred Heart University Faculty Authors

The Sacred Heart Library collects published works by faculty authors. These works include books written by SHU faculty, edited by SHU faculty, as well as books that include chapters written by SHU faculty. Most titles are purchased for inclusion in the non-circulating Faculty Author collection on the first floor of the library. A second copy is often purchased for the circulating collection. Recently, the library has begun to purchase a campus-wide e-book copy as the second copy when possible.
