Communication and Media Arts Research Guide: Home

An introductory guide to research in Communication & Media Arts at Sacred Heart University Library

The School of Communication & Media Arts (SCMA) combines the social and cultural analysis of media and communication technologies with media production, including digital video, broadcast and print journalism, television, radio, photography, sports media, advertising, public relations and digital multimedia. The SCMA curriculum is interdisciplinary by nature and international in scope, blending theory and practice, the historical and the contemporary, and the mainstream with the alternative.

Sacred Heart University Library supports the school's mission and student research for individuals pursuing SCMA undergraduate majors and minors, graduate studies, and students taking courses in the school's many disciplinary offerings.
