Error Reporting and Takedown Requests

The Sacred Heart University Library (SHU Library) provides broad access to its print and electronic resources for teaching, learning, and research.

The Digital Commons @Sacred Heart University provides long-term preservation and access to the intellectual and creative output of the University’s academic, research, and administrative communities. This includes archival maintenance of official organizational records and publications of the University.

Author/creator submissions to the Digital Commons@SHU may include works including but not limited to faculty publications such as books, journal articles, conference papers and presentations, working papers, and art, faculty/student research collaborations and student academic papers.

In addition to the works of individual SHU authors/creators, the Digital Commons @SHU hosts select archival materials, generated by SHU colleges and departments, that document the history and intellectual life of Sacred Heart University.

In providing access to its collections, the Digital Commons@SHU acts in good faith. Despite the safeguards in place, we recognize that mistakes can happen.

The SHU Library makes the best effort to adhere to all known copyright and rights of privacy of its resources. If you are a rights holder, if you have concerns related to copyright, privacy, or other legal or ethical issues regarding content made available on our website, you are welcome to submit a request for correction or takedown.
