Need Help Searching?
Searching library databases isn't like searching Google. You need to create a Search Strategy using Boolean Operators. Follow this link for more information on how to create a Search Strategy!
Make sure you book an appointment with a librarian as well! We love to help create search strategies for students!
Don't have full text access to the Article?
Request an article, conference paper, or book through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)!
We will try and get the item, for free, from another library!

Databases and Finding Literature
The goal of every engineer, including yourself, is to continue the engineering design process by building upon, improving, and refining the models and designs of your peers! In order to find the literature of your peers, we first need to search for it! Use the databases below to start looking for that research!
Remember: If you get stuck, please reach out to your friendly neighborhood librarian for help! :)

QuickSearch
QuickSearch is the library's tool that searches almost all of our databases. It's a great tool for discovering and finding books, newspapers, articles, etc. One issue with QuickSearch is it can become difficult to find articles among the thousands of results. As librarians, we always recommend students to search individual, subject-specific databases to combat this issue. With our new QuickSearch interface, you can now limit by individual database within QuickSearch. Under "All filters", select "Content provider". The individual databases will be listed under this limiter. From here, you can limit to only the recommended engineering databases (like the ones above) such as IEEE Xplore. You can try a search below!
