Course Reserves for Students

Reserve materials are listed in the library catalog and searchable by author (Last, First), course code and course name. Search by KEYWORD in the basic search NOT BY SUBJECT (in other instances searching by subject is preferable, however, the catalog searches for course reserves as a phrase).

Bring the call number or authors name to the circulation desk to retrieve these materials. Patrons must have a SHU ID to borrow. Reserve materials circulate for specific periods of time determined by the professor. Please check for time and other limitations when checking out items. Some items, for example, are for library use only.

You can choose the check-out time of each material

For electronic materials, faculty should use Blackboard.

Please fill out and return either the eReserve Form or Physical Reserve Form depending on your material type. Forms can be emailed upon request, or physical copies are available behind the SHU Library circulation desk.
