Liaison Program

Beginning with a reorganization in 2006, the Library hired subject specialist librarians to serve the faculty and students in the academic programs of the University. The subject specialists are to coordinate collection development and materials selection for each of the departments within their respective areas of interest, as well as support the faculty with library instruction to their students.

As of the spring 2008, four subject specialists have been hired.  Prior to 2006, the departments were served by “librarian liaisons.”  The liaison program will continue for some departments.  Listed below are the subject specialists and liaisons for the respective academic areas.
