Windows 8: If you cannot search library databases, click here!
The Library and the Factory are aware of a "known issue".
Many Windows 8 (and some Windows 7) users get a "page cannot be opened" message when they attempt to search library databases.
There is a fix for this but it is complex. If you experience this, you should take your laptop to the Factory and they will install the fix (Academic Bldg, 203-365-7575, email@example.com).
Classroom workstations (all Windows 8) should be fixed by this morning, Monday, September 9.
In the meantime, you can access many of our major databases via these links.
